Dr Gnaneshwar Raj has done his MBBS from the prestigious Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad and MS(Orthopedics) from Osmania General Hospital where he has received training under highly respected senior faculty in dealing with complex trauma surgeries. He has done his Fellowship in Joint Replacement and Fellowship in Robotic Joint Replacement from the reputed Sunshine Bone and Joint Institute, Hyderabad which is regarded as Asia’s largest joint replacement center.
He is trained in Conventional as well as Robotic Joint Replacement Surgeries using the MAKO robotic system. He has a diploma in football medicine and has special interest in Arthroscopic Key Hole surgeries and sports medicine. He has received extensive training in spine surgeries from a stalwart in the field, Dr.K Vishnu Prasad and regularly performs Lumbar and Cervical Disc surgeries, Minimally Invasive Micro Endoscopic Discectomy and Spinal Fusion Surgeries.
He is actively involved in conducting various medical camps and treating simple joint pains and back ache to complicated cases in remote areas around Visakhapatnam. He is involved in carrying out medical research as well as publications in various journals.
